Cornerstone Fireplace and Chimney was founded in 2025 by Sean Florian Sr., who brings over 25 years of experience in the fireplace and chimney industry, knowledge and dedication he gained working alongside his father. Inspired to carry on his father’s legacy and build a future for his own family, Sean established Cornerstone with a commitment to integrity, quality, and community.

In addition to his professional expertise, Sean has proudly served in the Air Force since 2001 and is currently enlisted with the Illinois National Guard. His service includes two overseas deployments and two state deployments, most recently in 2020. This spirit of service extends beyond the military and into every aspect of his life.

Sean and his wife, Adrianna, met in 2011 and married in 2018. Together, they have four wonderful children, whose ages range from 25 to 3. As residents of the Joliet/Plainfield area, the Florian family is passionate about giving back to the community they call home. When they’re not serving customers or caring for their family, you’ll often find them volunteering in the youth section at Victory City Church.
